Peter Mabeo is the founder of Mabeo in Botswana Africa. In 2006, following

10 years of making bespoke furniture for commercial customers in Botswana,

he took initial steps towards creating a brand that would be the basis of

realizing his aspirations of making interesting products in a meaningful way

with a focus on quality, craftsmanship, design, sustainability, culture and people.

Under his direction Mabeo furniture has ongoing collaborations with some of

the most renowned international designers; as well as participation in highly

regarded international design events such as Design Weeks of, Milan, London, Stockholm and at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York; where they have been honored with awards, such as Best

Craftsmanship and Best Furniture.2
